Spring Cleaning

Hello faithful Laurites!

We have NOT forgotten you. Simply fallen asleep at our story telling post, as it were here in the space so decidedly "cyber". Its been a lovely spring, one in which we find ourselves ablaze with the spirit of recording, or 'laying your life to tape', as they sometimes(often) say.

We're happy to announce that this gifting of spirit wasnt in vain. The resulting four songs became the next What Laura Says collection, entitled 'TALK'. We're pleased to finally and officially announce that thanks to the help of local Phoenix independent SUNDAWG RECORDS, this collection will be pressed to limited edition 12" vinyl, as well as distributed digitally...

In celebration of this, Laura will be throwing a few parties in some familiar spots around our great state of Arizona. These were arranged in the most thankful and humble way, in appreciation of all the great times we have shared together, and also in looking toward the future with brightest of visions... a sign of the times, if you will! Hap-Hap-Happy New Year from Laura !

New...... the word itself brings shimmery shivers of hope and excitement. All at once, one conjures images of fresh air and knee-high socks set adrift in a sea of flat glass screens and resolutions. We gentle-folk of What Laura Says Thinks and Feels have deemed this NEW year to be the year of ALL years! True, a whole lot of the old ways of rocking-till-real will hold tight... but the beginning of this year will also bring much in the way of NEW music, NEW swag, and NEW thought.

We start off this newness with some exercises in preparedness and overall awareness. This January will see the band sharing the stage with all friends old and new, and perhaps.. just perhaps... hitting the jugular on the tuneful vein, thus spilling any number of new sonic concoction that've crept up in the stream.
